Lot of things happened this year. Some were important more, some less… I just want to summarize most of them… Well, let me at least try.
I saw the lights - on other words I’ve discovered Tangled, my most favorite fairy tale in a world (probably) and I saw it more than 50 times since February.
Met Dark Knight - an administrator of the biggest site about vampires and werewolves in the Czech republic, and we became a really, really good friends.
Celebrated St. Patrick’s Day - in a way I’ve never celebrated it before. One day we will celebrate it in Dublin!
Joined tumblr - it was shortly after the first Gleebercon, I was simply curious and had no idea how much it would change my life.
Auditioned for a talent show - I was accepted first but then crossed me out because of the lack of free spots. But either helped and killed my confidence. Kinda.
Saw Kudykam - the best play I’ve ever seen. It carries a message so deep… You won’t understand unless you see it.
Organised a Glee party - at Festival fantazie in Chotěboř. We set up three dance numbers (one was mash-up) and we sang a lot and it was awesome.
Cried in the cinema for two hours - because of Harry Potter, of course. I was one of those who lived through all Harry’s adventures and I was really sad when the last movie was released. Part of our lives was closed. But we are and always will be Potterheads. I regret nothing.
Met my friend’s brother and was invited to join their band - finally, after 20 years of my life, I finally sing in a band. Dream comes true.
Gained the early access to Pottermore - unlike the others, I don’t consider Pottermore the biggest disappointment of the year. I think it’s really great and I am very lucky to be a beta tester.
Moved to a new apartment
Started to roleplay again - here on tumblr. I met so many amazing people… I love them and I can’t even name them all… But they know who they are :-*
Saw Within Temptation live - in Prague. It was amazing.
Translated my very first book - from Czech to English. Some bullshit about adits and mines. Please, never force me to do something like that again.
Guided and translated Georgina Leonidas while on convention in Prague - I actually met and befriended Katie Bell! She was amazing and our plans went well. I miss her.
Returned to London - just for few days but still. It was good to be home.
Saw Molotov Jukebox live - seriously, THE BEST CONCERT EVER! Those guys are so full of energy and I absolutely loved it. I need to see them again, soon!
Received a hug from Sam Apley - from MoJu and talked to sentences with Nat Tena. I’m getting closer!
Finally decided to give up on school and move to England - there is nothing for me here and I am just being depressed all the time… I will leave after the next Festival fantazie, in the middle of July. I’m sure of it.
And that’s probably it. The most significant things that happened to me this year. I’m really curious what would 2012 bring…
